We prefer Microsoft Word documents, but will accept PDFs, Pages, or Open Office documents. Use a standard font, 12-point type. Times New Roman, Arial, or Courier is acceptable. Double space the entire text and use 1" margins on all sides.

We encourage you to submit multiple manuscripts but ask that you please submit each one separately.

No agent? No problem. We work directly with authors and love building those relationships firsthand. That said, if you have an agent who's we’ve worked with in the past, their referral is absolutely welcome. All you need is someone who knows your work and believes in it enough to put their name behind it. We do encourage unrepresented authors to consider finding an agent before signing any deal. A good agent will fight for your best interests, negotiate contract terms, and make sure you're protected every step of the way. We want this to be a win for you, not just a signature on a page.
